TIPS & INFORMATION ON THE ART OF FENG SHUI

The children corner is on the right hand side of the house in between the top and bottom corners. It's right in the middle of the marriage corner and the benefactor corner. This corner is for children if you have any, it is also for the child in you. It could mean your hopes and dreams. It is also referred to as the creative area of the home. So as you can see the children corner is more than just for children.

The color for this area is white or off white. If your walls are a different color that's fine because all you have to do is accent the color in your decor. This is a good place to put family photos. The white in your pictures could be your white color. To enhance creativity, you can put something in that corner that reminds you of being creative. Whether it be a picture, certain nick knack, or item that simply you find to be a creative piece. Remember that everybody has different likes and dislikes so what you might find to be a creative piece someone else might not. It is just about what moves you. If you feel good about a placement that is a key sign that it is right for you. Go by what you like and you will be fine.

Now, since the children's corner is in the middle of the wall and not in a specific corner it may be in a spot that might be hard to do much with. For example, a closet may be in between the two corners. So there are a few adjustments that can be done in this situation. First, if your walls are white or off white, that is good. That takes care of white in this area. If they're not, then place a white towel there. If it is your closet, store your towels there. Just try to find something white to put in this area. This is a basic color so it should be fairly easy to find something. Make sure this area is neat and clean. If this room is messy then your creativity may suffer. If this area is in your garage, remember the same principles apply.

Other ideas to use to embellish this area could be wind chimes, crystals, bamboo flutes and fountains. It is hard to decorate if it is your closet but be creative, you can do it. If it looks good to put a bamboo flute over the closet then try it. It's all about what feels good to you after you've made an adjustment. If you get a bad feeling about it after you make an adjustment then maybe you need to try something else until you get a good feeling about what you have done. Your feelings can tell you a lot when you are using feng shui. Have fun and enjoy!
